Synonymous with the refreshing taste of summer, Peroni Nastro Azzurro and Somersby Cider are being served up at this summer’s ASB Classic Tennis in Auckland as the new official partners of the prestigious WTA and ATP tournaments.

Asahi Beverages New Zealand CEO Andrew Campbell says he’s incredibly proud to have Peroni Nastro Azzurro and Somersby play a central role in enhancing the fan experience at the ASB Classic.

“Peroni and Somersby are familiar sights at the Australian Open and to have them here in Auckland at the ASB Classic is really special,” he said.

“Peroni Nastro Azzurro evokes the refined elegance of the Mediterranean and offers a crisp premium beer experience perfect for summer relaxation, including its 0.0% range for beer lovers looking to moderate their alcohol consumption.

“Somersby meanwhile has a refreshing range of traditional, low-sugar and low-calorie ciders for those attending.

“To kick off the partnership, fans can look forward to both Peroni & Somersby branded activation areas to enjoy the social atmosphere and to watch the exciting action of New Zealand’s most high profile tennis event.”

Of the partnership, Tennis Auckland CEO Rohan West said “we’re delighted to welcome Asahi Beverages New Zealand’s iconic brands to the ASB Classic and help bring to life activations that captivate tennis fans from around NZ and abroad.”
