Your Impact
As a Business Development Executive within our Corporate Retail team, you will drive distribution, execution and compliance across a high-profile portfolio of grocery and liquor customers. This is a field-based role where you’ll bring our brands to life in store while delivering strong commercial outcomes across Coles, Woolworths and major corporate liquor banners.
Key Accountabilities
- Own and manage a defined Sydney metro territory across corporate grocery and liquor customers including Coles, Woolworths, Dan Murphy’s, BWS and Liquorland
- Deliver sales, distribution, compliance and execution targets through structured call cycles and strong territory planning
- Build effective relationships with store teams to influence ranging, displays, visibility and promotional execution
- Execute promotional programs in line with agreed plans, ensuring paid activity such as ends, displays and point of sale are delivered in store
- Identify and address compliance gaps, confidently managing challenging conversations where execution standards are not met
- Drive physical in-store execution including display building and merchandising, supported by a part-time merchandiser
- Manage call coverage, reporting and administration to ensure KPIs and performance expectations are met
- Collaborate closely with your Field Sales Manager and wider Corporate Retail team to share insights and improve efficiencies
About You
- Experience in grocery, corporate retail or FMCG field sales, or a merchandiser ready to step into a BDE role
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-volume FMCG environment with constant change
- Highly organised, structured and disciplined in your planning and time management
- Confident managing physical in-store work including display builds and merchandising activity
- Strong communicator with the resilience to hold firm but constructive compliance conversations
- Proactive, reliable and motivated to build a long-term career in FMCG sales
- Current driver’s licence required
