WMTM Technical & Development Lead

Are you a strategic thinker with a strong technical foundation in Warehouse and Transport Management systems? We’re looking for a Technical & Development Lead – Warehouse Management (WM) & Transport Management (TM) to take charge of the end-to-end delivery and development of cutting-edge supply chain solutions. In this pivotal role, you'll drive the technical execution of our WMTM program—ensuring robust system architecture, seamless integration, and scalable configurations that support enterprise-wide transformation.

 

 

Partnering with cross-functional teams, solution architects, and external vendors, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering high-impact, innovative logistics capabilities across multiple site deployments.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

 

• Lead technical implementation of WM and TM modules (e.g., SAP EWM, SAP TM), including architecture, configuration, and enhancements.
• Manage development activities across internal teams and external vendors, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Oversee integration between WM and TM systems and ERP (S/4HANA), MES, customer, and carrier systems.
• Prepare technical specifications, test scripts, and support deployment of interfaces and enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and security protocols.
• Provide expert guidance during testing, cutover, and hypercare phases.
• Drive technical governance and maintain design integrity across multiple site rollouts.

 

 

About You

 

 

• Previous experience leading technical teams and overseeing SAP builds (certifications preferred).
• Deep experience in SAP S/4 EWM and SAP TM configuration, enhancement, and integration.
• Strong development skills in SAP environments (ABAP, Fiori, PI/PO, BTP, APIs).
• Proven ability to manage vendors and resolve complex technical issues.
• Familiarity with cross-system architecture and integration patterns.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate between business and technical needs.
• Resilience under pressure and a commitment to high-quality, sustainable delivery.
