Are you passionate about access governance, risk management, and driving enterprise-wide compliance? We are seeking an experienced SAP GRC and User Access Lead to take ownership of our SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform and user access processes. You will be a key part of our Group Digital - Service Delivery and Governance team, ensuring that our systems remain secure, compliant, and aligned with best practices.

You will be instrumental in strengthening our security posture by overseeing access management across SAP systems and supporting broader user provisioning activities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and a skilled offshore team to implement efficient, scalable, and audit-ready access governance processes. This is a high-impact role where your expertise in SAP GRC will directly contribute to protecting data, reducing organisational risk, and supporting strategic digital initiatives.

Key responsibilities

Lead an offshore team to design and enforce SAP access governance and user access management policies, procedures, role-based access controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
SME/Lead for a new GRC tooling and rules set project
Manage end-to-end user access processes—provisioning, deprovisioning, and audits—across SAP systems, while driving automation to enhance efficiency and reduce risk
Oversee user provisioning processes—including Active Directory account creation, AAD/AD group memberships, and M365 licensing
Implement automated solutions to streamline access management processes and enhance efficiency.
Collaborate with stakeholders and support users, serving as the escalation point for SAP GRC and User Access Management issues and ensuring effective resolution of issues and incidents
Drive strategic execution and continuous improvement by managing resources, and vendor relationships, implementing SAP GRC initiatives, and delivering scalable, cost-effective solutions aligned to business goals and evolving organisational needs
Foster a OneAsahi team approach while leading a diverse group of onshore and offshore teams.

About you:

Experience in IT user access management and strong proficiency in administering SAP GRC solutions (Access Control, Process Control, Risk Management) within large, complex enterprise environments
Solid understanding of IT security principles, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices, with the ability to apply them to governance and risk management frameworks
Proven leadership capabilities, including managing offshore teams, balancing multiple priorities, and driving performance in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
Strong business and IT analysis skills to support informed decision-making and the alignment of technology solutions with strategic business goals.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
