Your Impact
We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Team Lead - Inbound to join our Huntingwood manufacturing site.
In this role, you'll lead inbound warehousing, inventory control and raw material operations, ensuring materials are available to production on time and in full. You'll work closely with manufacturing, transport providers, suppliers and logistics teams to maintain inventory accuracy, optimise material flow and support uninterrupted production across a fast-paced beverage manufacturing operation.
With five production lines and ongoing automation and capability projects underway, you'll play a key role in driving operational efficiency, safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead inbound warehouse and inventory operations to support weekly production plans.
- Manage raw material receipt, storage, stock control, replenishment and outbound movements.
- Maintain inventory integrity through cycle counting, stock investigations, reconciliation and SAP transactions.
- Coordinate suppliers, transport providers, warehouse teams and manufacturing stakeholders to ensure material availability.
- Manage warehouse space utilisation and stock movement within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Lead daily operational rhythms including safety, transport and inventory meetings.
- Coach, develop and manage warehouse and materials teams, including performance, training and employee engagement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency, material flow and inventory performance.
- Maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO9001 and internal quality requirements.
- Champion Asahi's Target Zero culture through strong safety leadership and incident management.
About You
- Experience leading warehouse, inventory, materials or logistics operations within a manufacturing, FMCG or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, cycle counting, stock accuracy and warehouse processes.
- Experience managing inbound and outbound material flow and transport coordination.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing operational teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and investigation skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Proven ability to collaborate with suppliers, logistics providers, transport teams and manufacturing stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of warehouse safety requirements, forklift operations and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) principles.
- Experience with SAP, ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding of GMP, HACCP, ISO certification and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Warehousing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or related qualifications highly regarded.
