Your Impact


Lead a team of skilled Mechanical Fitters supporting packaging lines at our iconic Yatala Brewery. As Maintenance Supervisor - Mechanical, you'll drive equipment reliability, coordinate maintenance activities and maximise line performance across a high-speed packaging environment.
 

Working closely with Production, Reliability and Engineering teams, you'll oversee the execution of planned maintenance, support breakdown response activities and drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve equipment availability and operational performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance plan execution, ensuring tools, spare parts and SOPs are available and up to date.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to maximise equipment reliability and production performance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering administration activities.
  • Lead problem-solving sessions, identify potential issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Foster a high-performing team culture through coaching, performance management and clear communication.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental standards while promoting best practice across the team.

 

About You

You are an experienced maintenance leader with a strong mechanical background and a passion for building capable teams and improving equipment performance. You bring the technical expertise and leadership skills needed to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You Bring:

  • Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience leading maintenance teams supporting high-speed packaging operations in beverage, FMCG or similar manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working with CMMS (SAP ideal) and maintenance planning processes.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing contractors and overseeing their performance.
  • Proven ability to deliver maintenance KPIs and drive equipment reliability improvements.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies such as GEM.
  • Understanding of manufacturing reliability and asset management strategies.
