Innovation Specialist- StrangeLove

StrangeLove exists to make impossibly good drinks possible. As our Innovation Specialist, you’ll spark creativity through your knowledge and use of flavour, directly shaping the kind of beverages that turn heads, raise eyebrows, and most importantly, delight taste buds.

 

Key Responsibilities

This role will challenge convention, turning concepts into the most delicious drinks on the market. Alongside our team, you’ll guide this process from start to finish.

• Application of your technical know-how in product formulation and taste delivery to develop recipes that delight consumers
• Optimise beverage formulations to leverage ingredients and production capabilities while ensuring product quality throughout shelf life
• Own technical data, including Hamilton Grant, and create co-pack specifications and other required documentation
• Collaborate with Asahi Beverage teams (Liquid Development, Artwork, Packaging, Microbiology, Regulatory, and Quality) to ensure compliance with all internal and external regulatory standards
• Lead flavour experimentation through hands-on development work and detailed logging of sensory tastings. Contribute to shaping future business cases so we can learn, refine, and improve

  

About You 

StrangeLove have a passion for making interesting drinks with a focus on exceptionally good ingredients, we are looking for someone who share this passion with the below experience  

• experience in Innovation within FMCG, alcohol, or a related industry (3-5 years)
• Robust understanding of the innovation process and a strong interest in bringing ideas to life from concept to commercialisation
• Proven ability to manage project timelines, coordinate stakeholders, and track progress across multiple workstreams
• Adapt to changes in the work environment, including managing competing demands and remaining effective during frequent change, delays, or unexpected events

Please note, this role will based across the StrangeLove Office in Collingwood and Production site in Tullamarine
