Your Impact

 

You will partner closely with the Manufacturing Site Leadership Team to shape strong financial outcomes across Asahi’s manufacturing network. You will play a critical role in driving cost transparency, accountability, and optimisation across multiple sites, enabling informed decision-making and supporting sustainable operational performance. Through your leadership in financial analysis, forecasting, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP), you will help embed a culture of cost consciousness while ensuring robust financial governance across the manufacturing function.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Partner with Manufacturing Leadership to deliver budgets and forecasts across multiple sites, covering labour, utilities, recoveries, and operational costs.
  • Provide accurate, value‑adding financial insights through month‑end close and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
  • Analyse manufacturing cost performance, identify key drivers, and recommend cost optimisation opportunities.
  • Champion cost governance and accountability within manufacturing, ensuring compliance with financial policies and IBP disciplines.
  • Deliver operational insights that support a culture of cost awareness, performance improvement, and value creation.
  • Lead the design and implementation of streamlined, efficient financial processes for forecasting and month‑end close.
  • Support a strong safety and wellbeing culture by operating in line with company safety procedures and protocols.

 

About You

 

  • Proven experience in financial leadership roles within Supply Chain and/or Commercial Finance,
  • CA or CPA qualification (preferred).
  • Proven experience working with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
  • Strong understanding of core financial disciplines, including month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and contribute within high‑performing, collaborative teams.
  • Experience leading process improvements and driving efficiencies across financial systems and ways of working.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
