Your Impact

You’ll lead category strategy across Utilities & Freight, driving sourcing decisions that deliver our carbon emission reduction commitments. You’ll optimise cost, performance and sustainability outcomes, while introducing smarter ways of working across Procurement & Sustainability.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a category management framework
  • Partner with stakeholders to create sourcing and category strategies
  • Deliver forecast benefits and unlock ongoing productivity
  • Challenge current processes to improve efficiency and performance
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities across sourcing systems
  • Lead negotiations and full end‑to‑end sourcing activity
  • Support or lead SRM implementation to enhance supplier performance

 

About You

You’re an experienced Procurement or Sourcing professional with success in large manufacturing, FMCG or facilities management environments. You build strong supplier partnerships, influence confidently, and deliver commercial results.

You’ll bring:

  • Strong communication and stakeholder leadership skills
  • Analytical, problem‑solving mindset
  • Understanding of change management
  • Experience working with SAP Ariba supply chain tools (advantageous)
