Your Impact

Join us as a Manufacturing Supervisor at Tullamarine, where you’ll lead day shift operations across three production lines in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Working closely with your team, you’ll drive safety, quality, and performance outcomes while building capability and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of operations, further develop their leadership capability, and gain exposure across operations, maintenance, and NPD.

Please note: This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, working 12-hour day shifts on a 24/6 (Monday to Saturday) roster. Some flexibility to support alternative shift patterns (including night shift) may be required based on business needs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the production plan across multiple lines
  • Drive safety and quality KPIs, ensuring compliance with HACCP & GMP
  • Actively reduce customer complaints and outcall events
  • Provide hands-on leadership and troubleshoot issues on the floor
  • Coach and develop Operators and Team Leaders across multiple machines
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including Planning, Maintenance, and NPD
  • Monitor performance metrics, labour costs, and production variances
  • Champion continuous improvement and a strong safety culture

 

About You

You bring experience from a fast-paced manufacturing environment and are confident leading teams to deliver consistent operational results. You’re organised and proactive, with the ability to plan effectively while remaining hands-on and visible with your team.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (FMCG preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead or coordinate teams in an operational setting
  • A structured and organised approach, with a hands-on leadership style
  • Strong understanding of safety, quality, and performance KPIs
  • Experience supporting team development through coaching and training
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Mechanical aptitude, with blow moulder experience highly regarded or a willingness to learn
  • Experience with SAP or similar systems (desirable)
