Commercial Project Manager

Your Impact

 

As Commercial Project Manager – Non Alcohol, you will play a key role in delivering Asahi’s Non Alcohol innovation pipeline. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Project Manager, you will manage multiple projects across the NPD portfolio and ensure they progress through the Asahi Stage & Gate process from concept approval through to launch.

 

You will work across a diverse range of project types including new liquids, packaging updates, promotional initiatives and partner brand launches across categories such as CSD, water, mixers and energy. Partnering closely with marketing, supply chain, finance, manufacturing and external partners, you will coordinate cross functional teams to deliver projects in full and on time.

 

Your focus will be ensuring strong project governance, clear stakeholder alignment and disciplined execution across the innovation pipeline to support the growth of Asahi’s Non Alcohol portfolio.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Manage multiple NPD projects through the Asahi Stage & Gate process from concept approval through to launch
• Coordinate cross functional teams to deliver projects in line with timelines, milestones and business priorities
• Lead project kick offs, develop timelines and ensure clear ownership of deliverables
• Prepare Stage & Gate submissions including project summaries, risks, mitigations and cost visibility
• Monitor and escalate risks, issues and roadblocks to maintain project momentum and delivery timelines
• Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular updates across internal NPD trackers

 

About You

 

• 5+ years project management experience ideally within a large, complex FMCG environment
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Project Management or a related discipline
• Experience working with beverage, food or manufacturing products highly regarded
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
• Ability to influence and collaborate with cross functional stakeholders
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly summarise actions, risks and project updates
• Commercial awareness and understanding of how business decisions impact project delivery
• Comfortable operating in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities
