Join our team as a Production Operator at our Papakura site, where you’ll play a key role in keeping our production lines running safely, efficiently, and at high quality.

Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you’ll be responsible for operating equipment, supporting production processes, and contributing to a strong team culture focused on safety and performance.

With 8 opportunities available (6 permanent and 2 fixed-term), this is a great chance to build your experience and grow within a supportive team - with potential pathways into 2IC responsibilities for the right candidates.

Please note

• This is a Day shift role: 6:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday
• Overtime may be required on Fridays
• Flexibility is essential, with weeks ranging from 40–60 hours

 

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery to meet output targets
• Perform quality checks and ensure products meet required standards
• Support with raw material handling and production processes
• Assist with basic troubleshooting and escalate issues as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all safety procedures
• Work collaboratively with your team to achieve daily production goals

 

About You

• Previous experience in manufacturing or production environments (preferred)
• Forklift licence (beneficial, not essential)
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical work (lifting 10–15kg, standing for long periods)
• Basic computer skills, with Excel highly regarded
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• A proactive mindset with good problem-solving ability
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and following processes
• Leadership potential or experience (advantageous for future 2IC opportunities)
