People & Culture Specialist

Your Impact:
As the People & Culture Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting managers and teams across the employee lifecycle. You will help ensure people processes run smoothly while providing practical HR advice, maintaining accurate systems and supporting initiatives that strengthen employee experience, compliance and workplace wellbeing.
This role can be based in Melbourne or Sydney. In Melbourne, the role can be based at Allpress Roastery at Collingwood or Reservoir sites. In Sydney, the role will be based in Zetland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update P&C policies, employment documentation and people processes
- Coordinate key people processes including goal setting, performance reviews, remuneration reviews and engagement surveys
- Identify opportunities to improve people processes and support the implementation of global P&C initiatives
- Support the recruitment process including advertising roles, screening candidates and assisting with interviews
- Prepare employment contracts and offers while ensuring payroll and onboarding information is accurate and timely
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees across the region
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within HR systems including Lattice and Bamboo
- Provide day to day HR guidance to managers and employees and support employment relations matters
About You:
- 2-3 years of experience working in a People & Culture or HR generalist role
- Solid understanding of core HR processes including recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- High attention to detail when maintaining employee records and HR documentation
- Comfortable working with HR systems and maintaining accurate people data
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with managers and employees
- A proactive and collaborative approach with the ability to support both local teams and global P&C initiatives
