Business Development Executive
Location: Tullamarine Territory (Tullamarine, Craigieburn, Sunbury, Niddrie & Essendon)
At Asahi Beverages, we’re passionate about delivering exceptional experiences through our iconic portfolio of brands. We are currently looking for a Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our team and take ownership of a key territory across Melbourne’s northern suburbs.
This role has become available following an internal change and presents a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, growing a territory and driving strong in-market execution.
The territory is a large and high potential patch that requires strong relationship building and commercial focus to rebuild and grow the customer base.
Your Impact
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving distribution, volume and brand presence across your territory while building long-term partnerships with customers.
This role plays a key part in delivering sales and execution targets through the implementation of commercial initiatives and identifying new opportunities for growth across the portfolio.
You will manage your own territory, execute a structured call cycle and work closely with customers to ensure our brands continue to grow within the market.
Key Accountabilities
• Manage and grow a territory across Tullamarine, Craigieburn, Sunbury, Niddrie and Essendon
• Drive distribution, volume growth and execution across your customer base
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key industry contacts
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the territory
• Execute commercial initiatives and promotional activity across accounts
• Deliver strong execution against brand, pack, price and channel strategies
• Maintain accurate reporting and pipeline activity within CRM systems
• Conduct approximately 12–18 customer calls per day depending on territory location
About You
• Previous experience as a Business Development Executive, Territory Manager or Sales Representative
• Strong planning, organisation and time management skills
• Ability to manage a territory independently and prioritise activity
• Confident relationship builder with strong communication skills
• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and convert opportunities
• Experience within FMCG, beverages, hospitality or retail sales is highly regarded
