Your Impact:
As National Inventory Manager working out of our site in Papakura, you’ll own inventory performance across our national warehouse and 3PL network. You’ll translate inventory strategy into consistent execution, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong service outcomes for our customers. Leading a national team and working closely with logistics, quality, finance, and operations, you’ll drive continuous improvement, manage risk, and ensure inventory supports both operational excellence and business growth.
Please note: this a Fixed Term contract position to support secondment coverage until May 2027
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and execute the national inventory strategy, ensuring all warehouses and 3PLs comply with ABNZ standards, SOPs, and KPIs
- Lead national inventory reporting, reconciliation, audit compliance, and visibility to support service and operational decision‑making
- Champion end‑to‑end inventory quality, compliance, and corrective action across the network
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve service, reduce cost, and strengthen inventory accuracy
- Lead, coach, and develop the National Inventory team while embedding a strong performance and improvement culture
About You:
You’re a confident leader who enjoys setting direction, building capability, and driving consistency at scale. You’re comfortable operating across strategy and execution, and you know how to balance customer outcomes, operational realities, and cost discipline.
What will help you succeed in this role:
- Strong leadership experience within inventory, logistics, or warehousing environments
- A deep understanding of inventory governance, compliance, and audit requirements
- Confidence managing national networks, including 3PL partners and service agreements
- A proven ability to drive improvement, influence stakeholders, and lead change
Formal logistics or supply chain qualifications are welcome but not essential — leadership capability, commercial thinking, and impact matter most.
