Corporate Development Manager

Your Impact:

 

The Corporate Development Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering Asahi Beverages’ inorganic growth agenda across Oceania. You will drive M&A identification and execution, joint venture partnerships and high-value strategic projects aligned to Asahi’s strategy. This role sits at the centre of major growth decisions, providing rigorous financial analysis, strategic evaluation and clear recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Support identification and assessment of acquisition and divestment opportunities aligned to Asahi’s strategy
• Manage the full transaction lifecycle including market scanning, due diligence, valuation, negotiation, internal approvals and integration
• Lead detailed financial modelling and complex analysis to inform investment decisions
• Provide clear, objective recommendations and optionality to support focused decision making
• Partner with functional stakeholders to ensure effective execution and BAU transition post transaction
• Support sourcing, negotiation and implementation of strategic partnerships and joint ventures
• Lead high-value strategic projects aligned to business priorities

 

About You:

 

• Tertiary qualified in Business, Finance, Commerce or related discipline
• 3–5 years’ experience in corporate development, M&A, investment banking or strategy within a large matrixed organisation
• Demonstrated experience running due diligence processes and managing transaction workstreams
• Strong financial acumen with ability to build detailed deal models and apply valuation methodologies
• Strategic thinker comfortable dealing with ambiguity and complex problem solving
• Highly analytical with ability to distil complex information into clear recommendations
• Strong communication and influencing capability with senior stakeholders
