Business Development Executive – Retail Field Sales

Your Impact
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in driving growth across a large and diverse regional territory, covering Bendigo and surrounding areas. This role focuses on delivering strong execution across our non-alcohol portfolio while maintaining and growing long-standing customer relationships.
You’ll be stepping into a well-run territory with established customers and strong foundations already in place.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage a broad regional territory with Bendigo as the central hub
- Drive distribution, volume, and profitability across Away From Home and Petrol &
Convenience channels
- Execute business initiatives, promotions, and agreed trading terms in line with company standards
- Identify new business opportunities and manage the end-to-end onboarding process
- Maintain consistent call coverage and frequency, averaging approximately 15 calls per day
- Build trusted customer relationships through regular engagement and strong service levels
- Ensure accurate CRM reporting and pipeline management
About You
- Background in grocery, Petrol & Convenience, or FMCG environments is strongly preferred
- Sales experience is beneficial but not mandatory
- Highly self-driven and comfortable working independently across a large territory
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound business acumen with the ability to understand performance metrics
- Resilient, organised, and motivated by ownership and accountability
This role involves significant driving but does not require overnight travel as part of the standard journey plan.
