Your Impact
As National Account Manager – Away From Home, you will be responsible for the management and growth of a large, strategic national customer portfolio within the Away From Home channel. This role plays a critical part in delivering both commercial performance and long-term customer partnerships, balancing strategic planning with best-in-class execution.
You will own key national accounts end-to-end, driving joint business plans, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring strong in-market activation. In addition, the role supports new business development, contributing to the sustainable growth and expansion of the channel.
With a direct report, this role also provides an opportunity to develop leadership capability while influencing outcomes at scale.
Key Accountabilities
Account Strategy & Execution
- Develop and deliver strategic plans for assigned national accounts, ensuring best-in-class execution and alignment with customer and business priorities.
Commercial Delivery
- Drive sustainable revenue and profit growth through effective negotiation, promotional planning, and delivery of joint business plans with key customers.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to influence decision-making, maximise opportunities and ensure exceptional customer partnership.
Additional Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a large, high-value national customer portfolio critical to channel performance.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities to support channel growth and customer base expansion.
- Lead, coach and develop a direct report to drive performance and capability uplift.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to deliver aligned commercial outcomes.
About You
Qualifications & Experience
- Solid commercial experience within FMCG or a related industry.
- Proven success managing key accounts or national customer portfolios.
- Experience delivering commercial results with full P&L accountability.
- Strong capability in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and CRM platforms; experience with forecasting and sales reporting systems is advantageous.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
- Exceptional relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Financial literacy, including forecasting, budgeting and ROI analysis.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong project management capability and execution discipline.
- Demonstrated leadership capability or readiness to step into a people leadership role.
