Your Impact
As an Electrical Technician at our Papakura Brewery, you’ll play a key role in keeping our manufacturing plant running safely and reliably. You’ll apply your existing electrical trade experience in a hands-on environment, supporting preventative and breakdown maintenance while continuing to build depth across automation, control systems, and reliability practices.
This role is suited to an experienced electrician who is motivated to keep developing their skills and contribute to continuous improvement within a high-performing manufacturing site.
Please note: This position works on a rotating 12-hour shift roster with 24/5 coverage (approx. 45 - 60 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical maintenance and fault-finding across high-speed manufacturing plant and site infrastructure
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance to support equipment reliability and production output
- Fault-finding and maintenance support across PLC, SCADA, and industrial instrumentation systems
- Use of SAP / CMMS to manage work orders, capture fault history, and support reliability insights
- Contribute to continuous improvement, reliability initiatives, and site-based improvement projects
- Maintain high standards of electrical safety, compliance, and housekeeping
About You
You’re a trade-qualified electrician who enjoys being hands-on, solving problems, and continuously building your skills. You’re motivated by learning, open to new technology and ways of working, and keen to grow your capability.
You’ll bring:
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, FMCG highly regarded
- Strong fault-finding capability across production and process equipment
- Practical exposure to PLCs and SCADA systems (fault-finding and support rather than programming)
- Comfortable working in a shift-based, high-volume manufacturing environment
- Safety-focused, reliable, and able to work effectively within cross-functional teams
- FMCG, food & beverage, or similar continuous-process manufacturing experience is well regarded
