Your Impact
As a Business Development Manager in our Away From Home (AFH) team, you’ll play a critical role in growing Asahi’s presence across customers such as cafés, restaurants and food outlets.
This is a high-energy, growth-focused role with a strong hunter mentality. 80% of your time will be spent winning new business, cold canvassing, opening doors and onboarding new customers, while the remaining 20% focuses on growing contracted accounts and maximising opportunities within them.
You’ll combine commercial smarts with relationship-building capability, helping customers grow their beverage category while ensuring Asahi continues to outperform the market.
Key Accountabilities:
- Maximise commercial initiatives within customer.
- Develop and implement category growth initiatives.
- Understand customer strategic direction and leverage with ALB initiatives.
- Monitor competitor activity and take relative action to ensure ALB continues to grow ahead of category.
- Cold canvas and on-board New Business.
- Develop long term, strategic relationships with key customers.
- Support the National team to develop effective functional relationships with key retailers.
- Ensure ALB is amongst ‘best practice’ vendors in servicing key customer and meeting customer KPI’s.
- Ensure timely and effective execution of nationally agreed plans in support of Commercial Plan.
- Develop additional local plans where required to further support national initiatives.
About You

- A proven record in successful field sales experience.
