Shift Coordinator

Join our Papakura team as a Shift Coordinator, where you’ll play a key role in keeping our warehouse operations running safely, efficiently and on time. You’ll lead a team of operators to achieve targets across safety, quality, and delivery - while driving performance, fostering engagement, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.

We’re looking for someone with proven leadership experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment, who’s ready to take ownership, influence outcomes, and continue building their career within a leading beverage business.

 

Please note: This role is on Afternoon shift from 1pm – 9:30pm, Monday-Friday.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coach your team to deliver on daily operational plans across safety, quality, and productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and performance.
• Manage labour planning, inventory control, and service delivery in line with business targets.
• Present daily performance updates and operational insights in shift and site meetings.
• Support compliance with HACCP, ISO9001, GMP, and other internal and external standards.
• Investigate and resolve product or customer issues through structured problem-solving.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork across your shift.

 

About You

• You have at least 1–3 years of warehousing or manufacturing experience, ideally in a team leadership role.
• You’re passionate about people leadership and skilled at motivating and guiding others to achieve their best.
• You’re a strong communicator and confident presenting in team meetings.
• You’re passionate about continuous improvement and enjoy finding better ways to work.
• You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, experience with MS Dynamics and Microlistics beneficial.
• You understand or are keen to learn quality and safety frameworks.
• You’re motivated to develop yourself and grow your career.
