Quality Assurance Technician

Join one of Australia’s leading beverage manufacturers and play a key role in upholding our standards of quality and safety. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you’ll be based at our Wulkuraka site laboratory performing testing, calibrations, and investigations that directly support production and ensure every product meets specification.

You’ll contribute to the ongoing improvement of quality systems and processes, working closely with production and QA teams to maintain compliance, resolve issues efficiently, and drive operational excellence across the site.

Please note: This role is a 12-month fixed term contract, based on-site Monday - Friday.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory testing and equipment/instrument calibration and servicing.
• Support product quality programs across finished goods, raw materials, and water treatment.
• Investigate consumer and production complaints, identify root causes, and support resolution.
• Participate in GMP inspections, internal audits, and continuous improvement activities.
• Coordinate hygiene and sanitation sample testing and assist with retention sample programs.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders across production and quality to ensure timely issue resolution and accurate reporting.
• Maintain safe work practices and contribute to site quality, safety, and environmental standards.

 

About You

• Experience working in a laboratory environment, ideally in FMCG, food, or beverage industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations objectively and make sound, timely decisions
• Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented, with a commitment to safety and product integrity.
