Merchandiser | Hawke’s Bay (Napier / Hastings / Havelock)

Your Impact
As a Merchandiser with Asahi Lifestyle Beverages, you’ll be the face of our brands at store level across the Hawke’s Bay region. This role ensures our products are available, presented to standard, and that promotional activity is executed flawlessly. In addition to core merchandising, you’ll also deliver regular in-store tastings (1–2 per week), creating engaging brand experiences for customers and showcasing our portfolio.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure ABNZ products are merchandised in line with store ranging requirements and promotional activity
• Maintain and relay fridges, chillers, and floor displays to planogram standard, ensuring pricing and POS are correct
• Stock rotation, date-checking, and execution of displays to ensure visibility and compliance
• Communicate specials, promotions, and new products to store teams
• Run in-store tastings and sampling sessions weekly to build consumer engagement and promote trial
• Build strong working relationships with store decision makers and key staff
• Represent Asahi with professionalism and customer focus

About You

• Positive attitude, reliable, and eager to learn
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated with good time management
• Current driver's licence and access to a reliable car
• No prior merchandising experience required – just the right mindset
