Sales Representative | Palmerston North & Whanganui

Your Impact
As a Sales Representative in Palmerston North and Whanganui, you’ll manage a diverse beverage portfolio across grocery and route channels – servicing supermarkets, dairies, cafés, and local businesses. You’ll be responsible for building strong customer relationships, executing to high standards in store, and driving sales performance across the region. This role is well-suited to someone early in their career, with a positive attitude and ambition to grow within FMCG and develop long-term with Asahi Beverages.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage a portfolio of grocery and route trade accounts, ensuring executional excellence at each outlet
• Sell in SKUs, deliver promotional compliance, and increase volume, revenue, and profit against KPIs
• Execute fridges, chillers, displays, and planograms to Asahi standards
• Ensure a strong return on equipment investment through EQ management and administration
• Take ownership of customer engagement, solving problems and building long-term relationships
• Manage customer administration (rebates, contracts, equipment returns) with accuracy
• Achieve sales and distribution targets, supporting NPD launches and national campaigns
• Collaborate with ASMs and the wider North Island team to share insights and deliver results

About You

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential
• 1–2 years’ FMCG or customer-facing sales experience preferred (but not mandatory)
• Tertiary qualification in business or commerce is advantageous
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working autonomously across a territory while contributing to a wider team of 10
• Ambitious, commercially minded, and motivated to progress your career with Asahi
• Current driver’s licence
