Your Impact
We have an exciting opportunity for a Reliability Operational Specialist based in Wulkuraka. In this role, you’ll collaborate with teams across our operations to shape and implement targeted standards that enhance our manufacturing and reliability performance. Reporting to the Reliability Engineer, your work will focus on improving machine efficiency (ME) and reducing unplanned failure events (UFE), while ensuring safety and quality remain at the forefront.
This is a role where you’ll make a tangible impact, coaching and mentoring teams, fostering collaboration, and driving the successful adoption of new ideas and processes. Your efforts will help us deliver measurable results and drive improvements in our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement operational standards that incorporate relevant safety, environmental, and quality requirements.

Lead the creation of maintenance PM plans and ensure alignment with End of Life (EOL) strategies and stores holdings.

Quantify and implement improvements to machine efficiency (ME), unplanned failure events (UFE), and cost per hectoliter metrics.

Use and document problem-solving methodologies in line with the Asahi Way.

Enhance Autonomous Operational philosophy through well-executed plans.

Support new product implementation processes within agreed focus areas.

Provide recommendations for capital expenditure to meet objectives.

Coach and mentor operational teams to ensure successful adoption of standards and processes.
About You
You are a natural people person and skilled facilitator who thrives on bringing people together to achieve common goals. With a strong coaching mindset and excellent communication skills, you build trust and foster collaboration across diverse teams. Your ability to solve problems, influence others, and draw out insights ensures success in both individual and group settings.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:

5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within packaging in an FMCG environment or working with complex machinery.

Proven ability to mentor and guide team members, supporting their professional development.

Exceptional facilitation skills to lead productive discussions, training sessions, and collaborative problem-solving.

Analytical and critical thinking abilities to identify challenges and implement practical solutions.

Exposure to commercial operations, budgeting, and project management is highly regarded.
- Experience in SAP maintenance modules and proficiency in MS Office beneficial.
- Mechanical, Electrical, or Dual Trade required.
