Inspection System Specialist

 

Your Impact

We’re looking for an Inspection System Specialist to join our team at Wulkuraka. In this role, you’ll focus on the inspection and monitoring of pre-forms, bottles, and packaging quality systems, ensuring reliable performance of FMS and related technologies. You’ll also support PLC and programming activities as needed and work closely with trades and equipment specialists to improve standards across the site.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who’s eager to learn, get hands-on, and develop into a reliability-focused specialist within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct verification inspections across packaging systems, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain FMS inspection systems to monitor line performance.
• Support PLC and programming jobs on an ad hoc basis.
• Work alongside shift trades, equipment specialists, and reliability engineers.
• Assist in developing and implementing technical standards and supporting End-of-Life (EOL) strategies.
• Apply problem-solving tools to drive reliability and efficiency improvements.

 

About You

• Current Electrical Licence highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of Krones and/or KHS equipment highly regarded.
• Hands-on, open-minded, and keen to learn in a high-speed packaging environment.
• Exposure to FMCG/manufacturing an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
