Your Impact
We’re looking for an Electrical Reliability Technician to join our team at Wulkuraka, with a strong focus on inspection and packaging quality systems. In this role, you’ll inspect and monitor pre-form, bottle, and packaging quality systems, ensuring reliable performance of FMS and related technologies.
You’ll also support PLC and programming activities as required and work closely with shift trades, equipment specialists, and reliability engineers to help lift technical standards across the site.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who’s eager to learn, get hands-on, and develop into a reliability-focused specialist within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct verification inspections across packaging systems, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot FMS inspection systems to support reliable line performance.
- Provide ad hoc electrical support to PLC and programming activities.
- Work closely with shift trades, equipment specialists, and reliability engineers to identify and resolve issues.
- Assist in developing and implementing technical standards and supporting End-of-Life (EOL) strategies.
- Apply structured problem-solving tools to drive reliability, efficiency, and performance improvements.
About You
- Hold a current Electrical licence
- Exposure to high-speed packaging or FMCG manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of Krones and/or KHS equipment highly regarded.
- Hands-on, open-minded, and keen to learn in a production-based environment.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- The ability to work collaboratively with, and train or coach, operators and trades.
