In close collaboration with our Chairman and Group CEO, they are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment for our people. Amanda Sellers

Group Chief Executive Officer – Asahi Beverages

Amanda is the Group CEO of Asahi Beverages APAC and a member of the global Asahi Group Executive Committee. Since joining the business in 2019 as Group CFO, she has brought strong leadership and deep industry insight to the role.

With a career spanning senior positions at Treasury Wine Estates, Foster’s Group, and Pernod Ricard, Amanda brings over 25 years of experience and a passion for the beverage industry.

Beyond our boardroom, Amanda is a strong advocate for health and wellbeing. She contributes her expertise as a board member of Australian Red Cross Lifeblood and DrinkWise.

Ben North

Chief Financial Officer

Ben was appointed Chief Financial Officer in May 2024, with prior senior leadership roles including General Manager – Finance CUB. He brings deep financial expertise and a strong understanding of the beverage industry. His broader corporate experience includes key positions at Transurban, where he led Group Reporting and Financial Planning, and at KPMG, where he advised some of Australia’s most prominent companies. Ben combines financial acumen with industry insight to support sustainable growth and deliver long-term value across the business.

Nigel Parsons

Chief Commercial Officer

Nigel was appointed Chief Commercial Officer in April 2025, overseeing the alcohol and non-alcohol commercial and sales functions across Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this role, he served as CEO of Asahi Lifestyle Beverages, bringing over 30 years of experience in management, sales, and strategic leadership. His global career includes senior roles at Mondelez International, where he served as Business Unit President for Sub-Saharan Africa and AMEA Regional Sales Director. From leading complex M&A initiatives to driving commercial innovation, Nigel has consistently delivered results on a global scale. In addition to his role at Asahi, Nigel contributes to the broader industry as a board member of the Australian Food & Grocery Council and the Brewers Association of Australia

Brian Phan

Chief Growth Officer

Brian was appointed as Chief Growth Officer in 2021, bringing with him over two decades of experience in strategy, transformation and marketing. Throughout his career, Brian has held senior roles, leading iconic brands at Carlton & United Breweries and Ford Motor Company, where he built a strong track record in transformative marketing and brand innovation. His leadership is defined by a focus on growth, continuous evolution, and building meaningful consumer connections. At Asahi, Brian is passionate about creating value through insight-led strategy and delivering exceptional experiences that delight consumers and drive long-term success.

Sandra Gibbs

Chief Supply Chain Officer

Sandra leads our end-to-end supply chain for Australia and New Zealand, overseeing strategy, manufacturing, logistics, and engineering to deliver Asahi’s iconic brands safely and sustainably, with excellence and efficiency. Since joining the business in 2017, Sandra has driven transformative change, drawing on deep industry experience gained through senior roles at Carlton & United Breweries, Treasury Wine Estates, and Foster’s Group. A passionate advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion, Sandra co-chairs Asahi’s global DE&I committee and is actively involved in driving industry-wide progress through the Australian Drinks Association. She also serves on the boards of Circular Plastics Australia (PET) and The Drinks Association, contributing her leadership to sustainability and sector development.

Roz Lever

Chief People & Corporate Affairs Officer

Roz joined Asahi Beverages in 2021 and leads a broad portfolio spanning Human Resources, Employee Experience, Change and Rewards, Safety and Wellbeing, Communications, Corporate Affairs, and Sustainability. An experienced leader in the FMCG sector, Roz previously served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Saputo Dairy Australia. Her career also includes senior roles at Murray Goulburn and Fonterra, where she developed expansive expertise across all facets of HR, Health & Safety, Communications and Organisational Development. Roz is passionate about creating environments where people can thrive and businesses can grow - bringing together people, purpose, and performance to drive lasting impact.

John Kelvie

Chief Digital & Information Officer

Appointed Chief Information Officer in 2024, John brings more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of technology and business. He is recognised for leading high-performing, global IT teams and delivering strategic, enterprise-wide transformation in dynamic and fast-paced environments. Before joining Asahi, John served as CIO & Business Sustainment at Saputo, where he successfully led complex IT transformation programs and drove operational resilience. At Asahi, John is focused on enabling innovation, enhancing digital capability, and simplifying the way we work to support growth and performance across the business.

Effie Markopoulos

Chief Legal Officer & Company Secretary

Effie has led our legal function since 2019, and she also looks after our Incident Management Policy & Procedure. She is a trusted advisor known for her legal expertise, sound judgement, and ability to navigate complex business challenges with precision and assurance. Effie’s career spans both in-house and private practice, with senior legal roles at Asahi, Cadbury Schweppes, and Mondelez, following her early legal experience at Mallesons Stephen Jaques (now King & Wood Mallesons). Her deep understanding of the FMCG sector and commitment to governance make her a key member of the leadership team.

John Tortora

Chief Procurement Officer

John stepped into the role of CPO in 2020, bringing a wealth of experience in supply chain, procurement, and sustainability, shaped by a career with some of the world’s leading beverage companies, including Carlton & United Breweries and AB InBev. As Vice President of Procurement and Sustainability at AB InBev, he led major supply chain initiatives and championed more sustainable, efficient ways of working. At Asahi, John continues to drive progress through innovative procurement strategies and a strong commitment to environmental and social responsibility. He also serves on the board of Circular Plastics Australia (PET), where his collaborative leadership is helping to advance industry best practice in sustainability and circular economy solutions.

Hikaru Sato

Chief Business Development Officer

Since joining our region in 2024 from Asahi’s global headquarters in Tokyo, Sato-san has been a key driver of our business. With over 30 years of international experience, beginning his career at Asahi Breweries Japan in 1993, he has held influential roles including Executive Officer and Head of the CEO Office. Sato-san’s unique combination of expertise and strategic vision is instrumental in bringing the global One Asahi strategy to life across the APAC region.

Erwin Selvarajah

CEO South Asia, Central Asia & Southeast Asia

Erwin is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. Having spent more than 26 years leading consumer-focused organisations, he brings deep expertise in driving sustainable growth, building high-performing teams, and navigating complex, dynamic markets - particularly across Asia. Known for his passion for innovation and operational excellence, Erwin is equally dedicated to developing future leaders. His career has spanned diverse geographies, where he has consistently led successful business transformations and empowered organisations to reach their full potential.

Kazushi Tosa

Director, Chief Inter-Group Alliance Officer Asahi Holdings Australia

Kazushi is based in Australia, acting as the chief liaison between Asahi Holdings Australia and Asahi Group Holdings in Japan. Kazushi was appointed to both the Board of Asahi Holdings Australia in 2023 and Chief Inter-Group Alliance Officer in 2022. Before that, he brought his expertise in Finance to Asahi Group Holdings.

Roland was appointed Chairman of the Board of Asahi Holdings Australia in 2020, having been appointed to the board in 2016. A renowned industry leader, Roland brings extensive experience as both Director and Chairman in several board roles post his Chief Executive roles in global FMCG organisations.

Appointed to the Board of Asahi Holdings Australia in 2020. Keizo Tanimura is the Group Chief People Officer of Asahi Group Holdings. With over 35 years at the Asahi Group, he has held senior HR roles and currently leads global people strategy. He champions DE&I, safety & wellbeing, and fosters a culture where employees grow alongside the business - aligning talent, strategy, and organisation to drive sustainable value creation.

Director, Group Chief Growth Officer Asahi Group Holdings

Appointed to the Board of Asahi Holdings Australia in 2019. Taemin Park is the Group Chief Growth Officer of Asahi Group Holdings. Since joining the Asahi Group in 2005, he has led M&A and strategic partnerships, and now oversees global growth, marketing, innovation, and business development. His leadership drives long-term value creation by aligning strategic growth initiatives and organisational capabilities across the Group.

Director, Corporate Officer, Head of FP&A Asahi Group Holdings.

Appointed to the Board of Asahi Holdings Australia in 2023. Prior to his current role in Asahi Group Holdings, Yoshi held multiple directorships under Asahi Europe & International based in Prague, Czech Republic in addition to his role as Liaison Officer. He began his career in finance at Asahi Breweries and was subsequently a member of the M&A team in Asahi Group Holdings.
