Sales Representative – Nelson Region
Your Impact
As our Sales Representative across the Nelson to Kaikōura region, you will represent Asahi Lifestyle Beverages and grow our presence across both route and grocery channels. This is an entry level sales role suited to someone stepping up from merchandising or early sales experience into a true territory position.
You will manage a broad and scenic territory, build strong customer relationships, deliver high execution standards, and grow our core range across the region. With local support from Mark, our newly promoted ASM who previously held this role, you will have hands-on coaching and a clear pathway to grow your sales career.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage a large route-led territory with around 20 calls per day across Golden Bay, Nelson, Marlborough and Kaikōura
- Deliver grocery display builds on Monday mornings and maintain strong execution throughout the week
- Achieve daily sales targets including volume, revenue and profitability outcomes
Increase core range presence and deliver high in-store execution across all customers - Manage EQ returns, equipment processes, rebates and basic customer administration
- Build positive customer relationships and drive engagement with the Asahi portfolio
- Maintain high standards of safety, compliance and brand representation
- Work as part of the wider South Island team, including regular support from Mark
- Travel across the region with two to three overnight stays per month
About You
- You are driven, personable and eager to grow in FMCG. You enjoy being on the road, building relationships and taking ownership of a territory.
- You may come from merchandising or an early career sales environment and are now ready for a step into a true sales role.
- You communicate confidently, work well independently, enjoy variety in your week and deliver strong customer service.
- You are motivated by development opportunities and see this role as a pathway toward ASM, National Accounts or other commercial progression.
